T.I. is once again showing the world he doesn’t play when it comes to protecting his wife, Tiny. During a recent performance, the Atlanta rapper stopped everything mid-show after a situation involving Tiny unfolded in the crowd to defend her. Though the exact details remain unclear, T.I.’s reaction made it obvious he wasn’t going to tolerate any disrespect. In a clip shared by The Neighborhood Talk, T.I. is seen jumping off the stage to confront someone in the audience over what happened with Tiny. After the confrontation, he issued a clear warning to the crowd: “Leave her alone,” he said. “I’ll flip the table.” Fans on social media praised T.I. for standing up for his wife. “Y’all know this man don’t play about Tiny!!! Please find someone else to mess with,” one person commented. Another added, “I knew he didn’t play about her when he ran up on Floyd,” referencing a past incident involving boxer Floyd Mayweather. Several fans also pointed out that their son King was quick to defend his mother as well. This isn’t the first time T.I. has gone all out for Tiny. On Valentine’s Day, he stepped out in a poncho with her face on it. Tiny posted the look on Instagram, writing, “My man don’t miss a moment to let me know I’m over loved & adored… he out did himself with this poncho out in them Atlanta streets representing his lady & ofc as u can see he’s really full of himself too!! @tip I love my King.” The couple also recently scored a legal win. In March, a judge dismissed Sabrina Peterson’s defamation lawsuit against them, citing her failure to move the case forward. Between personal loyalty and legal victories, T.I. and Tiny remain a tight unit.
‘Sinners’ Returning To IMAX Theaters For One More Week
Due to popular demand, Ryan Coogler’s Sinners is returning to IMAX theaters for an additional week. Per a recent announcement, tickets for the film are currently on sale for the “limited screenings, which will take place from May 15-21 across nine IMAX 70mm theaters nationwide.” According to Warner Bros., due to the “overwhelming popular and critical response” to the film was “the catalyst behind the re-release.” Jeff Goldstein, Warner Bros. Pictures’ president of global distribution, confirmed the demand and rerelease in an official statement. “Audiences have spoken, and we listened. If ever a film needed to be experienced in this incredible, larger-than-life format, it’s Sinners,” Goldstein’s statement read. “Ryan has delivered a film that has been embraced by fans who appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into creating a film for this screen-filling format, and we wanted to give everyone the opportunity to see it — or see it again — in 70mm IMAX.” Already regarded as a cinematic classic, Sinners debuted at No. 1 at the box office, and it became the biggest debut for an original film since 2019. According to Variety, the film has grossed $122.5 million domestically and $161.6 million worldwide so far. A financial success, Sinners was made on a $90 million production budget, and 20% of the film’s revenue came from IMAX viewers on its opening weekend. Set in the 1930s, the film centers on twin brothers Smoke and Stack (both portrayed by Michael B. Jordan) trying to leave their troubled past behind and return home to Mississippi, “only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back,” per the film’s synopsis. Alongside Jordan, Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Delroy Lindo, Jayme Lawson, Omar Benson Miller, and Wunmi Mosaku also star in the film’s cast. One of the striking elements of the film is its use of music, namely the blues. The film is a study in the blues,” Coogler told The Philadelphia Inquirer. “I feel that this is America’s most significant contribution to world popular culture. It all started right there in Mississippi. When you delve deeper into it, you’ll discover a lot of spiritual and supernatural elements.” “The musicians are playing songs about enduring demon torment and making agreements with malevolent deities,” he continued. I also learned that church members judged the relationship, which was fascinating. Many of the most significant musicians emerged from the church.”
LeBron James Is Uncertain About His NBA Future
After completing his 22nd season in the league, LeBron James is not sure if he’ll play next year. During the post-game press conference following the Minnesota Timberwolves’ victory over his Angeles Lakers (103-96), a reporter asked James if he was going to play next season. “I don’t know. I don’t have an answer to that,” James explained. “Something I’ll sit down with my family, my wife, and my support group, and kind of just talk through it and see what happens.” “And just have a conversation with myself on how long I want to continue to play. I don’t know the answer to that right now, to be honest. So we’ll see,” he added. When asked about what pieces the Lakers need next to be successful, James decided not to answer the question, noting that Anthony Davis was traded for Luka Dončić after the team for a center. “No comment. I never say that, my guy AD said what he needed and then he was gone the following week,” James said. “I got no comment. I put that uniform on, gave everything I had.” James also lauded his head coach, JJ Reddic, who is in his first year leading the team. “It’s already hard to be a coach in the NBA, and it’s a hell of a lot harder being a rookie head coach,” James said. “I thought he handled it extremely well. He held us accountable, he pushed us. “That’s one thing for sure, he’s a great coach.” Before exiting the presser, James spoke about how it was to watch his son, Bronny, develop as a player. “Just to see his growth from the moment he was drafted when we were all in New York at the draft party to seeing him in summer league struggle early on … and pick it up towards the end,” James said. “I just saw he has a bright future because not only can he play the game of basketball, he’s just a great [expletive] kid. And you can ask anybody, any one of his teammates, any one of the coaches,” he continued. “Just a joy to be around, and I have to say that I have a lot to do with that.’’
Nelly Believes We Should “Stay Positive” About President Trump’s Presidency
Nelly is choosing optimism as Donald Trump faces historically low approval ratings. At the 100-day mark, Trump’s rating hovered around 41%—the lowest for any president in over 70 years. The backlash began when Nelly performed at Trump’s inauguration. The St. Louis rapper defended his choice, saying, “He’s the president — he won,” and framed it as respect for the office, not an endorsement. View this post on Instagram A post shared by TMZ (@tmz_tv) At the Stagecoach Festival, he doubled down. “I’m always looking at the glass half full,” he told Fox News. “I believe in bringing people together and making sure we all get what we need.” Not everyone was convinced. During a Grammy afterparty hosted by Anderson .Paak, Janelle Monáe freestyled over “Hot In Herre,” condemning Nelly’s appearance at the inauguration. In a clip that went viral, she called him a sellout and voiced support for marginalized communities. In a later interview with Geto Boys legend Willie D, Nelly insisted his appearance wasn’t about money. “I’m not campaigning,” he said. “I respect the office, no matter who’s in it.” He likened his performance to the duty of U.S. soldiers, saying, “If our men and women can risk their lives for the office, I can perform for it.” Nelly also attempted to defend Trump from accusations of white supremacy, citing old lawsuits and mistakenly referencing the 1994 Crime Bill, which had no connection to Trump. His arguments showed some confusion, but he remained steadfast. “I’m not saying he doesn’t have messed up ways,” Nelly admitted. “But he’s the President. I’m not telling you who to vote for—I’m just saying, he won.” As debate continues around artists performing for divisive figures, Nelly stands by his actions, insisting it’s about honoring the role, not the man.

When asked about the interaction at the post-game press conference, Antetokounmpo shared his thoughts on the matter. “I believe in being humble in victory,” Antetokounmpo told reporters. “A lot of people out there that are like, no, when you win the game, you talk sh*t and it’s a green light for you to be disrespectful towards somebody else. I disagree.” At the moment I thought he was a fan,” Antetokounmpo said. “But then I realized it was Tyrese’s dad. I love Tyrese. I think he’s a great competitor. [But] it was his dad,” he continued. Coming in the floor and showing me his son, a towel with his face, [and saying], ‘This is what we do. This is what we F-ing do. This is what the F we do.’ I feel like that’s very, very disrespectful. Speaking about the incident, Tyreese Haliburton told reporters that he didn’t “agree” with his father’s actions. “Basketball is basketball, and let’s keep it on the court,” Tyreese said. “I think he just got excited, saw his son make a game winner, ran and came on the court, but we had a conversation.” Afterwards, John Haliburton offered an apology for his behavior. I sincerely apologize to Giannis, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Pacers organization for my actions following tonight’s game. This was not a good reflection on our sport or my son and I will not make that mistake again. — John Haliburton (@PapaHaliburton) April 30, 2025 “I sincerely apologize to Giannis, the Milwaukee Bucks, and the Pacers organization for my actions following tonight’s game,” posted an X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday morning. “This was not a good reflection on our sport, or my son and I will not make that mistake again.”

Meek Mill Defends Dubai Photo Amid Backlash
Meek Mill is speaking out after catching heat over a photo from his recent trip to Dubai. The Philly rapper was seen posing with two women in what appeared to be an innocent fan pic, but social media quickly turned it into a firestorm. Critics began drawing connections to an unrelated controversy involving Shannon Sharpe, who is currently facing a $50 million lawsuit filed by a former girlfriend accusing him of rape and assault, claims Sharpe denies. View this post on Instagram A post shared by The Shade Room (@theshaderoom) Even though Meek Mill has no involvement in Shannon Sharpe’s legal situation, some social media users criticized him for taking a photo with women who appeared to be white or white-passing. Comments online suggested the timing of the Dubai photo was questionable. Many pointed to the current controversy surrounding Shannon Sharpe as the reason for concern. Some users brought up Sharpe’s accuser’s lawyer and implied that people might twist the image to unfairly target Meek. Meek didn’t stay silent. He jumped on Instagram to defend himself, questioning how the image ended up gaining so much traction. “Why they keep posting me on blogs with 2 fans…who makes the decisions of what Meek post to put on blogs? lol,” he wrote on his Instagram Story. He then commented directly under The Shade Room’s post: “It’s a regular pic with fans internet melting the minds of the black community wthelly.” The photo backlash comes at a time when Shannon Sharpe is under heavy public scrutiny. Tony Buzbee, the lawyer for Sharpe’s accuser, recently shared an audio recording. In it, the former NFL star allegedly threatens to choke the woman. Buzbee claims the clip “provides a fair picture of the relationship shortly before the alleged assault.” Though Meek’s situation is unrelated, the internet once again shows how quickly context can get distorted. Celebrities often find themselves caught in the crossfire of controversy that isn’t even their own.

I was like, ‘I need my dad.’ “ View this post on Instagram A post shared by TODAY (@todayshow) The Basketball Hall of Famer also noted that it was his father who led him to take his health more seriously. “My dad shared with me when he was going through prostate cancer, and I think we got closer through that process because I [was] obviously concerned about him, but we started communicating more because this was something that was a part of our genetic genes as men in our family,” Wade shared. “And so we started being able to share personal things,” he continued. “Like, I would call my dad after I left the hospital, like, ‘Yo, I just got a prostate exam, Pops, and the doctor did this,’ and he’ll laugh and say, ‘Oh yeah, that’s nothing. She just wanted to do this.’ We just got close when his prostate cancer [was being treated].”
