In 2024, rumours began to spread that Mars owed of gambling debt of approximately $50 million to the MGM Resorts in Las Vegas, NewsNation, using an unnamed source, reported at the time. Together, we are excited to continue creating unforgettable experiences for our guests,” the statement continued In January, Mars asked his fans to “keep streaming”  “Fat Juicy & Wet” with Sexyy Red, to help him pay off his debts “I’ll be out of debt in no time,” he quipped. In April, Marcs announced nine new Las Vegas performances set for August (22, 23, 26, 27, 30, 31) and September (3, 5, 6).  In 2016, Mars first launched his residency at the Park MGM and has played more than 100 shows in the venue.

Nick Cannon taking his talents to late-night TV. Cannon along with Wondery are debuting a new weekly video series, Nick Cannon @ Night. According to Global Grind, the new series premieres July 23 and episodes will appear on YouTube, Wondery+, and all podcast platforms. The series will be  “a modern spin on classic relationship advice shows, mixing expert insights, celebrity guests, and Cannon’s trademark charisma” Also the series is all taped in front of a live audience in Los Angeles. Leaving behind the traditional desk and guest format of late-night shows, Nick Cannon @ Night “taps into today’s digital culture, opening with Cannon’s real DMs as the starting point for deep, raw, and often hilarious conversations about love, sex, and relationships.” No topic will be off limits. “When it comes to his personal life, Nick has never shied away, unapologetically leaving the world curious about his views on dating, fatherhood and modern relationships. So, who better to offer advice?” the press release states.  Experts like Dr. Laura Berman, Dr. Viviana Coles, and Dr. Mike Dow, are slated to appear on the series who help decode complex emotional terrain. Also, Melyssa Ford, Raven-Symoné, Bobbi Althoff, Rosa Acosta, and Flame Monroe will be rotating guests. “I wanted to bring something that feels real, raw, funny, and deeply reflective of today’s generation,” Cannon told Global Grind. CJ Wallace, son of the late Notorious B.I.G., is being accused of arranging a sexual assault that was allegedly committed by Diddy.  According to the complaint, filed by a “John Doe,” Wallace was part of a group that lured the accuser to a Revolt TV location in 2020, where the alleged assault by Diddy took place.  The plaintiff claims that he was eschorted to a Revolt TV location in a Combs Corporations vehicle, along with Wallace and others. When he arrived to the location, he alleges he was taken to a room and Diddy was waiting for him. “Diddy attempted to force oral sex on me,” the plaintiff said in the suit. Wallace and the other men who were present restrained him as Diddy threatened that “your Bad Boy career is over” if he tried to break free. Following the alleged assault, the plaintiff said that Wallace drove him home along with his business partner, Willie Mack.  The plaintiff also alleges that participants documented the event as a form of “humiliating evidence.” The suit describes Wallace as a “henchman” in the alleged plot who promised to help advance his career. John Doe is reportedly seeking damages from Wallace and other defendants. After the accusations went public, Diddy’s legal team released a statement to TMZ denying the accusations. “Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone,” and that the criminal verdict “proves what we have been saying all along.” That people continue to broadcast and file false accusations — no matter how heinous and uncorroborated — is unfortunate, but Mr. Combs will not back down,” the statement continued. He will fight for as long as necessary to win his full vindication.”

Drake made waves in London over the weekend, using his headlining performance at the Wireless Festival on Saturday, July 13th, to reignite his feud with Kendrick Lamar. Ahead of a “Cowboy Carter Tour” stop in Atlanta, Beyoncé’s tour plans, unreleased music, and other secret materials were stolen last week in Atlanta out of a car belonging to her choreographer and one of her dancers. Other items that went missing included laptops, sunglasses, clothing, and a pair of AirPods Max headphones, which gave investigators some clues, as they used Apple’s “Find My” feature in an attempt to locate the headphones. Local station WSB-TV reports that on July 8, the theft took place in a parking deck near Krog Street Market. Choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue found that two suitcases were taken from a Jeep they were renting. “Mr. Grant advised he was also carrying some personal sensitive information for the musician Beyoncé,” a police incident report reads. “…[H]ard drives for her upcoming show in Atlanta were also stolen. The hard drives contained watermarked music, some unreleased music, footage plans for the show, and past and future set lists.” “He advised that he was her choreographer and Mr. Diandre Blue was a dancer for her, and that her hard drives for her upcoming show in Atlanta were also stolen. Law enforcement also reported that several suspects were questioned about the theft, as they were in a car that was “moving at the same time as the tracking on the AirPods.” Michael Seiden, or WSB-TV’s an arrest warrant was issued on Monday (July 14). No one has yet been charged.  On another note, JAY-Z brought some good vibes as he made his second Cowboy Carter Tour on Sunday (July 13). The power couple performed their classic   “Crazy In Love​” together before Hov performed “Public Service Announcement​.”​  After her final show in Atlanta on Monday,  Beyoncé is heading to Las Vegas on July 25 and 26 to close out the tour. 

Teyana Taylor is expressing her feelings for her new beau, Aaron Pierre. Speaking with Complex’s Jordan Rose, the multi-hyphenate shared how much she enjoys being with Pierre. “I feel like you gotta handle me like a cup of tea. Pharrell Williams can add another prestigious honor to his long-list of accolades. The multi-Grammy winner was named a Knight of the Legion of Honor in France. The recognition is  France’s highest civilian honor, “recognizing his contributions to public and cultural life.” Williams received the honor for his trailblazing his work in fashion, particularly his role as Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Creative Director, and for his broader cultural influence. The award was announced as part of the Bastille Day celebrations. The late and legendary Fatman Scoop is still receiving his well-deserved flowers. The Freeman Family, NYC Council Member Dr. Yusef Salaam, and the Forever Fatman Scoop Foundation have announced the official street co-naming ceremony honoring Grammy Award-winning artist and Harlem native, Isaac “Fatman Scoop” Freeman III. The intersection of 109th Street and 5th Avenue will be officially co-named “Isaac ‘Fatman Scoop’ Freeman III Place.” The ceremony takes place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
